Is Dola AI Free? Credits, Pricing and Limits to Check (2026)

Short answer: you can start using Dola without paying, but video generation is limited. Dola does not publish one simple allowance that applies to everyone, so check the app before you plan a project around it.

We tested Dola's website on November 5, 2026. From our test location it showed a region notice, so we could not confirm the current in-app limits ourselves. Treat any exact number you see online with care, including on sites that use the Dola name but are not Dola.

What we can say about Dola's free use

• Chat is the core product. Dola, formerly Cici, is a general AI assistant, and video is one mode inside it.
• Video uses credits. An October 2026 walkthrough from QuanTriMang describes Seedance 2.5 as costing credits. It says a free account had enough for one video and had to wait until the next day for more.
• Limits can change. Allowances can differ by account, region and model, and that report is one user's experience on one date.

Dola AI pricing

We could not confirm an official public price list. If you see paid plans, check where they are sold. In-app pricing shown inside the official Dola app is the one to trust.

Beware of look-alike sites

Search results for "Dola AI" include independent websites with similar names and their own credit packs. dolai.video, for example, describes itself as an independent generator. Its packs and limits are not Dola's. Before you pay, check who runs the site.

How to compare free video tools

Free offers are hard to compare, so ask the same five questions of each tool:

1. How many complete videos can I make, not how many credits do I get?
2. Which model do those credits buy?
3. What are the length and resolution limits?
4. Is there a watermark on free output?
5. Can I use the result commercially?

Using Seedance 2.5 on Seedance TV

If your goal is Seedance 2.5 video, you can also use it in your browser on Seedance TV. We are an independent product, not Dola or ByteDance, so here is how our own limits work:

• New accounts receive a small welcome credit balance.
• A Seedance 2.5 video costs more than that balance, so it needs paid credits.
• The free plan goes up to 720p, and Seedance videos on it include a watermark. Paid plans can remove it.
• The exact credit cost is shown before you generate.
