Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Seedance, your trusted platform for AI-powered video generation and creative content creation. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

Service Description

Seedance provides users with advanced AI-powered video generation capabilities and creative tools. Our services include:

User Accounts and Registration

  1. Account Creation:

    • You must provide accurate information during registration.
    • You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. See "Age Requirement and Protection of Minors" below.
    • You may not create an account on behalf of, or allow the use of your account by, any person under 18.

  2. Account Security:

    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
    • All activities under your account are your responsibility.

  3. Information Accuracy:

    • You must provide accurate information for optimal service delivery.
    • False information may affect your user experience and service quality.

Service Usage and Limitations

  1. Video Generation:

    • Our AI generates videos based on your prompts and specifications.
    • Generation quality may vary based on prompt complexity and system capacity.
    • Generated content is for your personal or authorized commercial use.

  2. Service Availability:

    • We aim to provide 24/7 service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
    • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with notice.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Seedance to create, upload, request, store, or distribute any of the following. This list applies to text prompts, uploaded images, uploaded video or audio, reference material, and generated output alike, and applies whether the subject matter is real, photographic, synthetic, AI-generated, animated, stylized, or fictional.

We may refuse, block, or remove any content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, and we may do so without prior notice.

Age Requirement and Protection of Minors

Seedance has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualization of minors.

  1. Strictly 18+:

    • Seedance is available only to individuals aged 18 or older.
    • We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to register or use the service. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will terminate the account and delete the associated data.

  2. Absolutely prohibited: You may not create, upload, request, store, or distribute:

    • Any depiction of a minor (any person under 18) that is sexual, sexualized, or eroticized in any way.
    • Any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes a minor, including sexualized "aging down" of an adult subject.
    • Photographs, video, or likenesses of any minor uploaded as reference, source, or input material for AI generation or modification, whether or not the intent is sexual.
    • Any prompt, keyword, workaround, or technique intended to produce content described above, or to evade our filters.

    This prohibition applies to all content regardless of medium or origin — real, photographic, AI-generated, synthetic, animated, illustrated, stylized, or fictional. Content in which the depicted subject appears to be a minor, or whose age is ambiguous, is treated as prohibited.

  3. Consequences: Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination without notice, forfeiture of any unused credits without refund, and preservation of the relevant content, account data, IP address, and payment records.

  4. Reporting to authorities: We report apparent CSAM to law enforcement and to the appropriate child-protection organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and the UK National Crime Agency, and we cooperate fully with their investigations. We may preserve and disclose account and content records for this purpose without notice to you.

  5. No appeal: Terminations for confirmed CSAM are final and are not subject to the appeal process described below.

If you encounter content of this kind on Seedance, report it immediately to [email protected]. Reports of this category are treated as our highest priority.

Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery and Synthetic Media

Seedance has a zero-tolerance policy toward non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) and toward deepfakes that harm, deceive, or exploit real people.

  1. Non-consensual intimate imagery: You may not create, upload, request, store, or distribute:

    • Intimate, nude, or sexualized imagery of a real, identifiable person without that person's express, informed, and documented consent.
    • Content produced by removing, altering, or "seeing through" clothing on an image of a real person ("nudify" or undressing applications).
    • Intimate imagery shared to humiliate, harass, threaten, extort, or retaliate against a person, including so-called "revenge pornography" and sextortion material.
    • Intimate imagery originally created with consent but shared or reused without the subject's continuing consent.

    Because all sexually explicit content is prohibited on Seedance in any case, no consent can make such content permitted here.

  2. Deepfakes and synthetic likeness: You may not use Seedance to create synthetic or manipulated media of a real, identifiable person in order to:

    • Impersonate them, or falsely attribute statements, actions, endorsements, or affiliations to them.
    • Deceive others into believing a fabricated event, statement, or recording is genuine.
    • Defraud, defame, harass, blackmail, or discredit them.
    • Interfere with an election, referendum, or other democratic process.

    This applies equally to public figures, celebrities, politicians, and private individuals.

  3. Disclosure: If you publish or distribute content generated on Seedance that realistically depicts a real person or event, you must clearly and conspicuously label it as AI-generated.

  4. Victim reporting and expedited removal:

    • If you are depicted in content on Seedance without your consent, or you are that person's authorized representative or legal guardian, contact [email protected] with the subject line "NCII Report".
    • You do not need a Seedance account to submit a report.
    • We review reports in this category as our highest priority, ordinarily within 24 hours of receipt, and we remove confirmed content immediately.
    • We do not require you to publicly identify yourself, and we do not disclose a reporter's identity to the reported user except where we are legally required to do so.
    • Where technically feasible, we block confirmed content from being re-uploaded or regenerated.

  5. Consequences: Confirmed violations result in removal of the content, permanent account termination, forfeiture of any unused credits without refund, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

User Uploads: Rights, Consent, and Real-Person Likeness

Seedance allows you to upload images and other media as input for image-to-video, image-to-image, reference-to-video, and similar features. You are solely responsible for everything you upload.

  1. Your warranty: By uploading any material, you represent and warrant that you own it or hold all rights, licenses, releases, and consents necessary to upload it, to have it processed and modified by AI, and to use the resulting output for your intended purpose.

  2. Uploads depicting a real person: If your upload depicts a real, identifiable individual, then one of the following must be true:

    • It is a photograph of yourself; or
    • You hold the express, informed, written consent of every identifiable person depicted, given before the upload.

    Consent must be given by an adult aged 18 or over (consent can never make the upload of a minor's image permissible), must be freely given and specific, and must cover: (a) uploading the image to Seedance, (b) processing and modification of their likeness by AI systems, and (c) the intended use of the generated output, including any commercial use. Consent may be withdrawn at any time; if it is withdrawn, you must stop using the generated content and delete it.

  3. Prohibited sources: You may not upload images of a real person that were obtained from social media profiles, search engines, messaging apps, dating profiles, surveillance or security footage, leaked or hacked material, or any other source where the depicted person is unaware of, or has not agreed to, this use. Stock or licensed imagery may only be used if its license expressly permits AI processing and modification of depicted persons.

  4. Proof of consent: You must retain documentary evidence of consent (for example, a signed release or model agreement) for as long as you use the generated content and for at least 12 months afterwards. If we receive a complaint or otherwise have reason to ask, we may require you to produce that evidence within 7 days. We may also require identity or rights verification — such as a government-issued ID, a signed release, or a verification selfie — before enabling or continuing likeness-based features, and may suspend generation while verification is pending.

  5. Failure to comply: If you cannot demonstrate that you hold the necessary rights and consents, we will remove the content and may suspend or terminate your account. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ASTROINSPIRE LTD against any claim, damage, or cost arising from material you uploaded or from the use of another person's likeness.

Content Moderation

We use a combination of automated screening and human review to enforce these Terms:

Credits consumed on a request that is blocked or removed because of a policy violation are not refundable. This does not affect our normal practice of refunding credits when a generation fails for technical reasons.

Content Reporting and Takedown

Anyone — user or not — may report content or conduct that violates these Terms.

  1. How to report: Email [email protected]. Please use one of these subject lines so that we can route your report correctly:

    • "CSAM Report" — content involving a minor
    • "NCII Report" — intimate imagery or sexual deepfakes of a real person
    • "Likeness Report" — use of your image or likeness without consent
    • "IP Report" — copyright or trademark infringement
    • "Content Report" — anything else

  2. What to include: the URL, generation ID, or a screenshot identifying the content; a description of what is wrong with it; your relationship to it (for example, that you are the person depicted, or their authorized representative); a contact email address; and a statement that your report is made in good faith. For copyright reports, please also identify the original work and confirm that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

  3. Our response times:

    • CSAM and NCII reports: prioritized and reviewed ordinarily within 24 hours of receipt; confirmed content is removed immediately.
    • All other reports: acknowledged within 2 business days and resolved within 7 business days.

  4. Actions we may take: removing or disabling the content; issuing a warning; restricting features; suspending or permanently terminating the account; forfeiting unused credits without refund; blocking the content from being re-uploaded or regenerated; and referring the matter to law enforcement or to the child-protection organizations named above.

  5. Appeals: If your content was removed or your account was restricted, you may appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Appeal" within 14 days of the decision. Appeals are reviewed by a member of our team who was not involved in the original decision, and we will respond within 14 days. Terminations for confirmed CSAM are final and cannot be appealed.

  6. Records: We retain records of reports received and actions taken for at least 12 months, and longer where required by law or for the purposes of an investigation.

Enforcement and Account Termination

Payment Terms

  1. Subscription Plans:

    • All purchases are final unless otherwise required by law
    • Prices may change with notice to users

  2. Refund Policy:

    • Refunds are provided according to our refund policy
    • Free trial terms are subject to change
    • No refund is due where an account is suspended or terminated for a violation of these Terms

Intellectual Property

Content Rights and Usage

  1. Generated Content:

    • You have rights to videos you generate through our platform
    • Generated content must comply with applicable laws and our content policies
    • We reserve the right to review content for policy compliance

  2. Platform Usage:

    • Generated videos are for your authorized use only
    • Commercial usage may require appropriate licensing

Disclaimer of Warranties

  1. Service Quality:

    • Video generation results may vary and are not guaranteed
    • We do not warrant specific outcomes or quality levels
    • Users should review generated content before use

  2. Service Reliability:

    • The service is provided "as is" and "as available"
    • We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation

Changes to Terms

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
